Voices Festival

Voices Festival is a two-day conference on Higher Education culture, with a speaker series featuring sector experts from across the UK and abroad. It is an event dedicated to supporting and celebrating inclusivity, empowerment and diversity.

I was tasked with creating the visual identity of the Festival, connecting it to the Voices magazine, but at the same time breaking away from the project.

The Festival was meant to shock: “you don’t know our voices”.

A large output

As the target audience for the event was comprised of two main demographics (the Higher Education specialists and the students), the design had to be impactful and bold, yet polished and smart. This came through in the colour combination and the photographic and typographic choices.

Because of the scale of the event, a large social media campaign was executed, and many collaterals were produced.

 
 

Social media content

In addition to static posts on social media, the strategy included a variety of moving image content, ranging from GIFs to short videos.
